Top Videogiochi del Saturn

Il Saturn è una console a 32 bit della SEGA uscita in Giappone nel 1994 per sostituire Il Megadrive e competere con le nuove console della Sony e della Nintendo ma nonostante l'arrivo in anticipo sulle concorrenti la console ha faticato ad avere giochi memorabili e di valore e ha puntato troppo sui giochi arcade e in 2D mentre la nuova grafica 3D si faceva sempre piu popolare. Non a caso tra i suoi giochi piu importanti ci sono i due Virtua Fighter che hanno aperto la strada per i picchiaduro 3D, molto buono Nights e la serie di sparatutto Panzer Dragoon che è pure evoluta in un JRPG con panzer dragoon Saga, divertenti le corse d'auto di Sega Rally o Daytona Usa, l'avventura the legend of Oasis o gli FPS arcade di house of The Dead e Virtua Cop. La console ha poi avuto tanti piccoli giochi di nicchia degni di nota come una marea di sparatutto 2D, gli strategici Shining Force 3, Langrisser e dragon force, l'action Rpg Princess Crown, i platform Astal e Clockwork Knight, l'avventura Dark Savior o i beat'em up di Guardian Heroes, D&D e Die hard Arcade. Per questo all inizio il Saturn riuscì quasi a competere alla pari con la Playstation ma poi venne completamente schiacciata dal successo delle rivali e cosi la SEGA da eterna seconda e diventata terza e non è riuscita piu a competere restando sempre piu indietro.
