TOP VIDEOGIOCHI DEL 2012

Nel 2012 è uscito Dishonored che è un interessante gioco stealth, Borderlands 2 è il primo grande looter-shooter, Dragon's Dogma è un singolare approccio al fantasy, Far Cry 3 perfeziona la formula openworld ubisoft, lo strategico Fire Emblem Awakening aumenta di molto la popolarità dell franchise e colpisce emotivamente il dramma del gioco di Walking Dead. Deludono invece Mass Effect 3 e Assassin Creed 3 con dei finali di saga non all altezza, Diablo 3 ha avuto molti problemi all uscita e solo grazie a tanti aggiornamenti e riuscito a diventare decente, irrita come Soul Calibur 5 toglie gran parte del cast originale, Halo 4 ha deluso molti dei fan storici, Max Payne 3 ha un ottimo gameplay ma i montaggi della narrativa fanno venire il mal di testa e tristemente Resident Evil 6 si rivela un totale disastro. Tra le piccole perle è interessante il gioco stealth 2D Mark of the Ninja, resta nella mente l'esagerazione tamarra di Asura's Wrath, sorprende la poetica esperienza di Journey, Spec Ops: the Line ha un gameplay generico ma riesce a decostruire l'intero genere degli shooter militari dell epoca ed è pazzesca la follia violenta di Hot Line Miami che ha delle ottime musiche ipnotiche.
