Top Videogiochi del Dreamcast

Il Dreamcast è una console SEGA uscita in Giappone nel 1998 che doveva sostituire Il Saturn e fare concorrenza alle nuove console di Sony e Nintendo, tecnicamente non era male e aveva anche un porta internet per le future funzionalità online, uno strano joypad grosso e scomodo con il cavo nella parte bassa ma la levetta analogica sopra quella digitale che fu un buon design che ha ispirato quello dell xbox ed era interessante come la memorycard poteva funzionare da secondo schermo ed essere estratta e utilizzata come piccola console portatile. il Dreamcast offriva ottime conversioni dei giochi Arcade diventando praticamente il "Paradiso dei Picchiaduro" con titoli come il Rivoluzionario Soulcalibur che era visivamente eccezionale per il periodo, poi Giravano bene anche Street Fighter 3, Capcom vs Snk2, mark of the wolves, King of fighters 2002, Street fighter alpha 3, JoJo, Project Justice, Dead or alive 2, e l'interessante duologia di Powerstone. Oltre ai picchiaduro la console ha offerto una marea di Sparatutto come House of the Dead 2 e Ikaruga e ha ospitato Tantissimi Giochi di guida come Sega Rally 2, Daytona Usa, Metropolis street racer e Il Divertentissimo Crazy Taxi. Ma non offriva solo Giochi Arcade visto che utlizzando primitive funzionalità online con un modem esterno Il Dreamcast fu la prima console ad avere un RPG online come Phantasy Star Online, gioco di culto che ha unito migliaia di giocatori da tutto il mondo, così come Rivoluzionari furono i due giochi di Shenmue, incredibili avventure 3D non lineari che ricostruivano un intero mondo realistico e hanno sdoganato i famosi QTE, buoni e memorabili i JRPG Grandia 2 e Skies of Arcadia, poi i due Sonic Adventure che un po' zoppicando portavano Sonic nel mondo 3D e la console ha sperimentato molto artisticamente e tra i Titoli piu folli e interessanti c'è stato lo sparatutto REZ, Il Graffitaro Jet Set Radio, i giochi musicali Samba de Amigo e Space Channel, e lo stranissimo SEAMAN dove si allevava un pesce-rana dal volto umano che parlava con te! Alla fine nonostante la buona qualità che ha offerto il Dreamcast non è riuscito a raggiungere il successo sperato e la console è morta in modo prematuro dopo neanche tre anni, la SEGA in un mare di debiti è stata addirittura costretta ad uscire per sempre dall mercato delle console e quasi come beffa tutti i suoi piu grandi titoli sono poi usciti anni dopo proprio sulle console rivali rendendo la console ancora piu obsoleta.
